Favors and gifts

Wedding favors or gifts are a way of thanking your guests for attending your wedding. If you have chosen a theme for your wedding, the favors might also be a way of showing that theme. Even if you don’t have a theme, make sure that a verse reflect the type of wedding you chose and your personality as a couple.

• Beautiful packaging goes a long way. A well presented small box or tulle wrapping aren’t the packaging options for most edible favors. If, for instance, you chose to offer chocolates, here are some packaging options:

• The favors packaging should be in neutral colors or in colors from your wedding color scheme. One simple way of coordinating the favors colors with the flowers and table decoration colors is to place satin, velvet or tulle ribbons on your favors.

 
• To personalize your favors you can engrave your initials or wedding date or even add a photo of yours to the favor.

 
• If you choose to offer chocolates remember they melt easily. Think about how we will store them in cool place before placing them or handing them out.

 
• If you are personally handing out the favors, take a few moments when you do to talk to your guests. Carry your favors in style, maybe in a basket decorated to match your theme or color scheme. Make sure the basket is not too heavy to carry!

• You can use the favors as centerpieces for the guest tables. For example, the favor can be small pots with flowers of your choice, one for each guest.
